Who We Are

Taimiya Khalid
Inclusive Development & Policy Analyst
Taimiya brings expertise in international development, gender-responsive research, and strategic communications, with experience across higher education, social protection, and global policy initiatives. Her work spans the Pacific, Africa, the Middle East, and South Asia, focusing on inclusive education, social equity, and policy impact.
She has collaborated with international organizations to support technology-enabled Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) and teacher training programs, fostering partnerships with national ministries across the Pacific and Africa. Her role included monitoring & evaluation, applying Results-Based Management (RBM) frameworks, and strengthening open education initiatives.
Her background in research and strategic communications includes working with the United Nations Capital Development Fund (UNCDF) to amplify the impact of climate finance projects, managing content strategies, and developing knowledge-sharing platforms. She has also contributed to human rights research, leading investigations on social protections for refugees and migrant workers in Turkey and Jordan, as well as co-authoring reports submitted to UN human rights bodies.
With a Master’s in International Development from the University of Bath, she brings qualitative and quantitative analysis skills, experience in policy research, impact evaluation, and stakeholder engagement, and a deep commitment to equity-focused development.
At DevLabii, she contributes to gender-responsive education initiatives, participatory policy development, and research-driven advocacy, ensuring programs are data-informed, inclusive, and impactful.
